Description: This workshop is about learning new tools for self-healing, and to encourage observation and reflection to enhance your healing practises. We shall be working with meditation, creative visualisation and experiential exercises to enhance awareness of the body and mind to connect with your creative source. CV: Jen Altman studied biology, has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and has done research on the nervous system for nearly forty years. She also holds the Diploma in Therapeutic Healing and the ITEC qualification in holistic massage and has training in Systemic Constellation Work. She practises Integrative Healing in North London, as well as running personal and professional development workshops for complementary health practitioners. She has developed and teaches experiential Body Journeys as a way of exploring the physical and subtle workings of your own body. Her passion is helping people to access embodied experience, especially that resulting from trauma.

Intuitive Weaving

CV: Joan Eytle Kendall is both a healer and an intuitive weaver who has been weaving for over twenty years. “I produce a range of woven pieces that are a bridge into and out of the world of spirit.”
Description: Intuitive weaving starts from the belief that we are all creative, that we all have stories to tell and that weaving is one way in which we can express our creativity and connect with our stories. Go beyond the mind to recognise the connection between your spirit and the spirit of the threads. Let your fingers wander over the many textures and be led by where they take you. Allow the feelings you have when you look at certain colours to lead you!
Introduction to Crystal Healing Workshops Levels 1-4
Facilitator: Janelle Scialla GNP, ELCT, ATH
CV: Janelle Scialla is a registered General Natural Practitioner and Master Crystal Therapist. She has served on the Council of the International Federation of Crystal Healers for one year, and is currently Chair of the Association for Therapeutic Healers. She is principal of Earthworks School for the Healing Arts, an accredited private college, and has been facilitating qualification courses and workshops in healing and crystal healing since 2002.
Description: Four introductory workshops giving an overview of crystal healing theory and technique, suitable for complete beginners, as well as therapists wishing to incorporate crystals into their practice.
Level One covers basic meditation and healing techniques, learning to trust your intuition, the Chakras and corresponding crystals, Colour Therapy, Chakra balancing, easy ways to remember crystal properties, crystal cleansing, charging and programming.
Level Two includes some basic geology, covering the three main phases of rock formation, and their importance and relationship to Crystal Healing. Also covered are crystals in space clearing, protection and Feng Shui, crystal gridding, and using crystals in meditation.
Level Three includes making gem elixirs and crystal waters, using a wand, generator or control crystal, and Laying on Stones.
Level Four explores the use of carved crystals, wands, palm stones, tumbled stones and points for massage. There will also be a separate section concentrating on the vast array of quartz crystals, and the use of each variety in healing and self-development.
Date: Each workshop is offered 3-6 times per year. The next Level One Workshop will be Saturday, 25th September 2011, 10.00 am – 4.00 pm
Duration: One day for each workshop.
Cost: £50 - £60, depending on workshop
Venue: Earthworks School for the Healing Arts, Avoncliff, near Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire. If there is sufficient interest, workshops can be arranged at other venues.
